"Based on a statement from the technician, Joe, my furnace condition has not changed since the last inspection and everything is working fine. I mentioned to him that technician from the Spring 2018 inspection informed me to use the cheaper lightweight filters because the ones I was using caused freezing on the air conditioner lines (which he agreed). Joe explained to me what the numbers on the filters meant (I don't remember the explanation in detail) and that the filter currently in the furnace was still good to use, so he did not switch out. I asked if I can use that type of filter during winter and he said yes there should be no problem with that. It is nice when the technicians take the time to explain things. The techs and the office person at Barker have always been friendly, professional, easy to work with. They have been able to extend the life of my furnace for many years. My mom first owned this house and my mom said to continue to have Barker inspect twice a year. Surely she is resting more in peace knowing Barker is providing me with the same service she had for many years."
